RightFax - HP MultiFunction Printers Integration

RightFax integrates with HP Multifunction Printers (MFPs) and Digital Senders to consolidate all faxing services on the network, while preserving access to the same devices that users are comfortable with.

RightFax Integration with HP MFPs

RightFax can integrate with HP MFPs in in several ways, including via a native connector developed by OpenText. This connector supports:

• The ability to scan paper documents directly to fax
• Numerous delivery options
• Shared, centrally managed phonebooks
• Card reader authentication
• Automatic delivery notifications

Devices not supported by the RightFax Connector for HP MFPs can integrate with RightFax via the RightFax SMTP Connector, which enables fax from the MFP as well as from users' desktops.

HP MFP Devices Supported for RightFax

RightFax integrates with HP MFPs in two ways. The generic RightFax SMTP Connector provides basic fax server interaction for all HP MFPs / MFDs.

Alternatively, the native RightFax-HP connector facilitates a more extensive and customizable user experience on several popular HP devices. There are two subtly different versions of this connector, each with nearly identical features for HP's two main integration frameworks.
